The slit extrusion coating die head can produce a very thin coating and transparent optical coating, while keeping the coating amount within a very precise tolerance. Different from the coating system that wipes the coating solution onto the substrate, our slit extrusion coating die head belongs to the coating die head with a relatively large gap (up to 0.0762mm). The liquid drawn from the slit of the mold lip can form a coating as thin as 1μm. With a coating thickness of only 0.002mm or 2μm, the coating amount across the entire width can be controlled within a tolerance of about 5%. Our narrow slit coated die head is a fixed die lip, so the thickness and width of the coating can be changed with an interchangeable clearance. Coating amount from less than 1μm to 254μm coating thickness.
